A famous sword fight took place on Boston Common in July of 1728 between a man named Benjamin Woodbridge and a man named Henry Phillips. Henry was supposedly a descendant of Deacon Nicholas Phillips of Boston, Massachusetts, and therefore a member of our Phillips Family DNA Group 18.
