10/19/2010: Study links Y-DNA variants with risk of heart disease


Scientists in the UK have shown that genetic variations in the Y chromosome affect a male's risk of coronary heart disease.  What is clear from the study is men who belong to Haplogroup I are more likely to suffer from coronary heart disease than men who belong to other haplogroups.  Click here to read more about it on the European Society of Cardiology website.
