SEMINOLE — Funeral services for Betty Phillips, 84, of Seminole and formerly of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Duke Dowling of Southside Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Betty Phillips died Dec. 1, 2010 at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.

She was born March 24, 1926 in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Tony and Laura (Gatlin) Howey. She married Floyd Carrol Phillips Aug. 3, 1946 in Benton, Ark. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and was office manager for A.W. Cullum (Tom Thumb) in Dallas.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Floyd Wayne Phillips of Dallas and Michael and Pamela Phillips of Bristo; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Robert Malone of Seminole and Barbara Carol Foster of Lawton, Okla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd C. Phillips; grandson, Mark Phillips; one sister and three brothers.

Visitation is set for Sunday, Dec. 5 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
