Mrs. J. H. Phillips, nee Mattie Elizabeth Oglesby, was the wife of Rev. J. H. Phillips at Pinehill. She was born near Bessemer, Alabama on March 31, 1882. She was married on October 8, 1900. She is survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. William Osburn, Percy John, and Miss Eula.
