Passed Away Near Elsie Wednesday Night.

Leon Phillips died at the home of Alfred Davis near Elsie Wednesday night of consumption.

For a number of years Leon has been in bad health and his death was no surprise. He was 86 years old and was the son of the late Rev. Gorden J. Phillips, a local preacher. He was reared in this county and was well known in this section. He was a brother of Mr. Ryal Phillips of Homerville.

His remains will be buried today at Bethel Cemetery.
