1894: GA - Mrs. Gordon J. Phillips

Mrs. G.J. Phillips Dead.

Mrs. G. J. Phillips died this morning at 6:30. She was about 69 years old. She fell over while putting on her shoes to visit a sick neighbor, who had sent for her. Her last effort was to fill her obligations as a laborer in the Vineyard of the Lord. She has been a member of Class No. 1, known as Parker’s Class, for six years. Her funeral services will be held at the class room to-morrow at 10:00 a.m. All of her friends and members of the class are requested to be present. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Winn.
