Miss Elizabeth Phillips Died Suddenly
An attack of a heart disorder proved suddenly fatal to Miss Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of Edward W. and Hannah Diehl Phillips, at her home on South Church Street, about midnight Wednesday night, aged 54 years.
Her father, an invalid, survives, with one sister, Mrs. Wilhelmina Stuck of Washington, and four brothers, Charles and Fred Phillips of Washington; Abner and George Phillips of Charles Town.
The Rev. C.I. Lewis will conduct funeral services in the Presbyterian Church at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, with interment in Edge Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pall-bearers at the funeral services will be Howard Wilt, Harry J. Cain, T. Warner Lowry, J.O. Cain, Roger Rissler, and C. William Moore.
