1983: Faye Phillips, b. TX; d. OK was created by Mamie

Faye Phillips, age 77, of Edmond, died Friday. Born in Texas on Nov. 29, 1905. She was a home maker and a member of the South Lindsay Baptist Church. Survived by sons, Ken W. Townsend of Edmond, Charles "Skip" Kerlin of OKC; 2 daughters, Linda Chappell and Donna Melton, both of OKC; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services 10am, Saturday, Resthaven Cemetery, directed by Guardian Midtown.
