Millie Mae Phillips, born Feb. 13, 1900 in Collin Co. Texas, died Sept. 13, 1988. Services will be held at Mount Zion Pentecostal Church, 10am, Friday, Sept. 16, 1988, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a member of the Indian Mission Church of God. She came to Oklahoma in 1929 from Texas, and arrived in the OKC area in 1959. She was married to Rufus B. Phillips in OKC Apr. 5, 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband April 10, 1983. She is survived by sisters, Tessie Vines, OKC, Gladys Trice, Denver City, Tx.; brothers, Buddy Byrd, Collinsville, Ok., Arnold Byrd, Okmulgee, OK., Junior Beaty, Oildale, Ca.; sons, Earl Ketner, Vance Nailon and Leonard Nailon, all of OKC; daughters, Alta Wheeler, Fresno, Ca., Polly Bryan, San Angelo , Tx., Katie McCarn and Leonora Ryan, both of OKC; 36 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Directed by Hunter Funeral home.
