From the Southern Baptist Messenger, 1860-62, Pgs. 106-111

Died, Mrs. Susan A. Lawrence, Oct. 30, in Monticello, Jasper county, Ga. She is the widow of James Lawrence late of Jasper County and the daughter of William and Susan Phillips. She was age 31 years, 5 months, and 1 day and joined the Primative Baptist church at Falling Creek, Jasper Co. Ga. on September 9, 1853.
