PHILLIPS. - In Clovis, Cal., August 11, 1925, Samuel J. Phillips, beloved husband of Harriet R. Phillips, loving father of Harold M., R. Delight and Stewart S. Phillips; son of Mrs. Ellen and the late Mortimer Phillips; brother of Mrs. Alice Chadbourne, Mrs. Annie Ray, Mrs. Sadie Miller, Mrs. Ruby Vogel, Mrs. Clyde Dresser, Rebecca and Mary Phillips, a native of California, aged 38 years, 11 months, 26 days.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services Friday, August 14, at 11:00 a.m., from the Fruitvale Chapel of C.N. Cooper, 3347 East Fourteenth st. Interment, Vacaville, Saturday.
