1913: Mrs. Rye Phillips, of TX. & NM, died in Chicago, IL.

Mrs. Rye Phillips died at 11 o'clock last Monday night at a sanitarium in Chicago, where she had been operated upon last Saturday night for a tumor of the liver. Deceased was 45 years of age and had several children. Her daughter, Ethel, was with her in Chicago, where burial took place Tuesday, being so at the request of the deceased. Mrs. Phillips was the widow of the late Rye Phillips, who died at their home in New Mexico some seven or eight years ago. Mr. Phillips resided in Stephenville some years ago and prior to that time lived in Dublin. He will be remembered by many old time residents of this city.
