TEMPLIN-Van Alstyne, Texas, May 26.-Funeral services for George B. Templin, 62, were held at the Baptist church at Weston, southwest of here, with the Rev. J.R. Hilger, pastor, and the Rev. Tommy Sandlin, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Mugg Cemetery. Mr. Templin, Weston school janitor, died of a heart attack. He was born in Tennessee, Jan. 26, 1877, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Templin. He was married to Miss Hattie Phillips in Tennessee, July 1, 1898, and came to Texas in 1901. He had resided in the Weston community for twenty years. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Miss Ethel Templin, student nurse at Methodist Hospital in Dallas; three sons, Black Templin of Weston, George and Charles B. Templin, Jr., of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four brothers, Bruce, Charley, Schuler Templin of Tennessee.
