William Phillips, a well known and prominent resident of Pleasant Hill, Ill., died about 9:30 o’clock Sunday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Phillips, of 518 Lind street, where together with his wife and three little children he had been visiting for the past seven or eight weeks. Tuberculosis is given as the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Phillips had been in poor health for some time prior to coming here to visit his parents, but it was thought until a short time ago that his condition was a little improved. Besides his widow, children and parents he is survived by two brothers, Frank and Charles Phillips of St. Louis. The body will be shipped to Pleasant Hill and interment will take place there.
