DNA Suggests a Maternal "Dynasty" in Ancient Southwest Society

More than a century after the discovery of an ancient crypt loaded with turquoise and other riches in New Mexico’s Chaco Canyon, scientists have analyzed DNA from the remains of 14 people buried there.
