Esther L. Brown Phillips, born April 27, 1918 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, moved to Dallas, TX. July of 1918.

Died in Dallas, TX., October 15, 1997. Graduate of Forest Ave. High School. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Dallas, also active in her Sunday School Class. She was a Line Dance instructor for many years. She was a lover of art, oil painting, stain glass and also music.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harris A. Phillips, Sr.; son Harris Phillips of Oklahoma City, OK.; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Nina Brown Doner; brother Veryl Brown.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Friday, October 17, 1997 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel, Rev. Roy Copeland, officiating. Interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
