NACOGDOCHES - Services for William Thomas Loving, 80, Nacogdoches, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches with the Rev. Ron Scarlett, officiating.

Burial will be in Saints Rest Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Mr. Loving died Friday in a Nacogdoches hospital.

He was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Rusk to William Polk and Edna Tennessee Phillips Loving. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired construction worker, a farmer and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Viola Loving, Nacogdoches; three sons, V.W. Loving, Bobby Glen Loving and Jimmy Ray Loving, all of Houston; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Loving Bozeman, Stinesville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Billy Cooper, Chris Coles, David Bozeman, Jim Bob Jones, Roger Gragg and Murvel Holt.

Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
