(1) H. P. Woodward, coffee executive dead at 58.
Harry Park Woodward, chairman of the board of the Southland Coffee Co., Atlanta, and active in Atlanta’s civic and business life, died after a long illness at the age of 58.
Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Col. Alsop Park Woodward and Catherine Schley Howell Woodward. He attended Atlanta schools, Georgia Tech and took aviation training during World War I.
Mr. Woodward was with the Southland Coffee Co. for eight years. During the first five years of this period, he was president of the company. Previously Mr. Woodward was associated with various Pepsi-Cola bottling plants and with real estate activities.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter; two grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters.

Harry Park Woodward, 58, chairman of the board of Southland Coffee Co. (where he was employed for 8 yrs, the 1st 5 of which he was president) and active in Atlanta's civic and business life, died Tues morning Feb 12 (sic) 1952, at him home at 2969 Ridgewood Rd NW, after a long illness.
Born in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Col. Alsop Park Woodward and Catherine Schley Howell Woodward. He attended Atlanta schools, Georgia Tech and took aviation training in WWI. He was previously associated with various Pepsi-Cola bottling plants, and real estate activities in Atlanta. He was a member of the Piedmont Driving Club, the Capital City Club, the Druid Hills Golf Club and the American Legion. Member of the Peachtree Christian church.
He is survived by his wife the former Miss Mary Louise Jones, daughter Mrs Daniel MacDougald jr; grandchildren: Daniel MacDougald III, Nancy Louise MacDougald; sisters Mrs. Roscoe Hearn, Mrs Thorne T Flagler, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Julian Chambers of Knoxville. brothers: Vice-Admiral Clark Howell Woodward of Washington, Mr. Daniel Hood Woodward of Atlanta. Funeral service will be held Feb 12 Wed. (sic)
