Funeral for Mrs. Tennie Gladys Mayfield Phillips, 101, of Burton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Lary Henrichs, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Old Prospect Cemetery, Mount Enterprise.

Mrs. Phillips died Nov. 3, 2002, in Brenham.

Born July 20, 1901, in Rusk County, she was the daughter of Jessie and Fannie Needham Mayfield. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Mount Enterprise. She was married to Frank Wesley Phillips, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Clarence Phillips of Geronimo, Okla., and Frank Phillips, Jr. of Baytown; daughters, Louise Phillips Riggs of Burton; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.. today.
