A Maniac's Horrible Deed.
TOLEDO, O., May 25.-The Commercial's telegram from Bowling Green says George Anderson, a farmer, aged 75, was beaten to death this morning with a hickory cane by his wife, aged 65. His head was beaten to a jelly. Mrs. Anderson is a large powerful woman and has been in the insane asylum twice. She was evidently insane when the deed was done. She has a brother, David Phillips, now in the insane asylum at Columbus, who killed Charles Sandy several years ago, while insane. Mrs. Anderson was lodged in jail.
