Mrs. Sarah E. Harmon, widow of the late John E. Harmon, died at the home of her son, John E. Harmon, on May 14th, aged 75 years, 3 months and 25 days and was laid to rest in the family burying ground at her old home on the following day, Rev. J. W. Hank conducting the services at the funeral and at the grave. She is survived by six sons, Lafayette N., Otho T., Leonard J., Sydney, Fred F. and John E. Harmon, and one daughter, Mrs. William H. Phillips.
She was a kind neighbour. Her cheerful disposition will be missed by her many friends, her children and her neighbours. The writer, who has lived a near neighbour for 50 years, remembers in the many years, her many acts of kindness and cheer in times of sickness in his home and in the homes of others.
