DEATH OF MRS. MALLICOTE.

Aged Lady Passes Away at Her Home Last Night.

Mrs. Rebecca Mallicote, 73 years old, died at her residence, 232 Armistead avenue, last night about 8:30 o'clock. Mrs. Mallicote had been ill with tuberculosis for several months. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Phillips, and was born in Elizabeth City county, about three miles from Hampton. She spent her entire life in this section and was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Annie Lee Thomas and two nephews, Messrs. J. T. Lee and R. C. Lee.

Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in St. John's churchyard tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. George W. Wray, pastor of the First Methodist church.
