DIED.-Mrs. Parmelia Ann Gullmire, better known to people in this vicinity as Mrs. Phillips, having formerly been the wife of B. W. Phillips, died at her late residence in this village last Tuesday at 9 a.m. of supposed fatty degeneration of the heart. She had been ill for about three weeks, but being of a very strong constitution she did not summon a physician until a few days previous to her death, although she was importuned by her friends to do so. She was 74 years of age this month and has several brothers and sisters living in different parts of the state. Deceased has been a resident of this county most of the time for the past 37 years, and will be remembered by many of the early settlers as landlady of the old Pine Plains house. The funeral was held at her late residence on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Mrs. P. A. Gullmire, of this village (formerly Mrs. Phillips) received a pension this week with arrears amounting to nearly 8900. Gullmire was her third husband and it was on account of his death that the pension was granted.
