1895: Miss Lucy Phillips; d/o the late W. P. Phillips of Lincoln, Nebraska was created by Mamie

Died, May 25, after a few weeks' illness, Miss Lucy Phillips, daughter of the late W. P. Phillips of Lincoln. The deceased was well known to many readers of THE JOURNAL. An invalid all of her life-time here, she had a sum of experiences equal to that of many of three times her number of years. The sorrowing relatives and friends have the sincere sympathy of all their acquaintance in an affliction which touches every fiber of their nature, and gives them one more friend in the Summer Land.
