DEATH NOTICE.
YOUNG, Amanda nee Phillips, died Tuesday, May 24, 1977, at age of 88. She was the wife of the late Robert Winthrop Young, former president of the 3M International Company, beloved mother of Robert W. Young, Jr. of New York City, dear sister of Rebecca Phillips of Needham, Mass.; also survived by her grandchildren, Marie Young Bates of Greenwich, Conn., Tracy Winthrop Young of New York City, Ellen Young of Seattle, Wash., Andrew Plimpton Young, Jr. of Brookline, Mass., and a great-grandson, Cornelius Lighthall Bates, IV of Greenwich, Conn. Private burial took place on Friday, May 27, at Newton Cemetery, Newton, Mass. Donations to the Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church, Naples, Fla., would be appreciated.
