Death of Mr. Jeff Phillips
Mr. T. Phillips died at the home of his brother, Mr. John Phillips in this city on Thursday night after an illness of long duration.

Mr. Phillips was born and reared in Starkville and was about 45 years of age. He is survived by two brothers, Mr. John Phillips of this city, and Mr. Joe Phillips of Texas.

Mr. Jeff Phillips, brother of Mr. John Phillips, died at the home of his brother Friday, about two miles south of Starkville. He had been sick for quite a long time and his death though a shock, was not unexpected.

Mr. Phillips was a young man well beliked by all who knew him. His two brothers, Mr. John Phillips and Joe Phillips of Texas, and other relatives survive him. Before his death he made a full confession of the religion of Jesus as his Master and Redeemer and departed in the faith.
