Mrs. Phillips Died Thursday.

The body of Mrs. W. H. Phillips was shipped here Friday morning, reaching here on No. 3 over the Texas and Pacific and was given burial in City cemetery after the train arrived. Mrs. Phillips was the wife of the former sexton at City ceemtery (sp), Mr. Phillips having held that place for a number of years. They left Weatherford in 1912 or 1913. She had been ill for a long time. Mrs. Phillips was 48 years old and is survived by four children and her husband, the children being Mrs. O. D. Crawford, Bellvue, Mich., Tom Phillips, Mrs. A. L. Reese and R. L. Phllips, all of Dallas. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips had been living in Athens a short time and was preparing to move to Dallas to live. The Woodmen Circle ladies assisted in funeral services at the grave. Burial was made at 4 o'clock, with service conducted by Rev. W. L. Nelms.

Obituary:
Died.
Mrs. Emilene M. Current, wife of L. M. Current, died Saturday and was buried Sunday at 3 p.m. Mrs. Current had been confined to her bed for some three months when death came and relieved her suffering. She was in her 68th year, had reared a large family, the most of whom still live to mourn her loss. The HERALD extends condolences to the bereaved ones.

Obituary of 2nd Husband, Levi McGlothin Current:
L. M. Current.
L. M. Current, aged 77, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wilson Gilbert, 209 Soward Avenue, at 5 a.m. Tuesday, the cause of death being kidney trouble. Mr. Current was one of the oldest citizens of Weatherford, having come here when a young man some 52 years ago from Missouri. He was married to Mrs. Andrews, now deceased, who was an aunt of R. J. Norton. Mr. Current is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Lack of Poe Prairie, Mrs. Lillie Helm of Petrolia and Mrs. Wilson Gilbert, Weatherford; W. F. Current, East Texas, and L. R. Current, of Petrolia. Funeral Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the residence of Wilson Gilbert, Soward Avenue, services being conducted by Rev. J. N. McCain. Interment in City cemetery.
