Funeral service for Ella Phillips Hammack, 93, of Nacogdoches will be at 2 p.m. today in the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Bowers and Dr. Steve Ruby officiating. Burial will be in Saints Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammack died March 17, 2003, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Born July 27, 1909, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Phillips and Martha Tubbe Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Hammack was married to Morrison Hammack, Sr. and he preceded her in death in January 5, 1972. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Lee Hammack in 1972.

Survivors include sons, Morrison Hammack, Jr. and wife Sue of Nacogdoches, and Harvey Hammarck and wife Mary of Nacogdoches; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tony Tipton, Ronnie Hammack, Robert Hammack, Tommy Lynn Hammack, Morris Dean Hammack and Troy Hammack.

Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Lynn Marsh.
