OCTOBER, 1899

At Kensico, N. Y., on the 26th inst., suddenly, Christina Houston Phillips, aged 48 years. Mrs. Phillips was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and was widow of the late Peter Phillips, in Dunfermline, Fifeshire. Eleven years ago she graduated from the New Haven Hospital, and, through her work had a large circle of friends. A son and a daughter survive her, Mrs. Jessie C. Wichmann, 21 West 68th Street, New York City, and David Phillips, of Brooklyn, N. Y. The interment was at White Plains, N. Y., on October 28, at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Metropolitan Trained Nurses' Club.
