Mrs. Phillips' Rites Scheduled
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Laura Phillips, 81, who died here Monday morning are tentatively set for 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Nelson Wurgler of St. Paul's Methodist church officiating.
Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery.
Resident of City.
Mrs. Phillips was a resident of Las Cruces for more than 35 years.
Besides her husband, John H., she is survived by five sons, Dennis W. of Blythe, Calif.; Thomas E. of Wasco, Calif.; and Marion F. of San Benito, Tex.; William S. and John H., Jr., both of Las Cruces; two daughters, Mrs. C. O. Pitrat, Mrs. H.C. Smith, both of Laveen, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. Wade Brookerson and Mrs. Bernice Sandoll, both of Las Cruces, Mrs. Ethel Tire of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Eula Wilson of Oklahoma City; one brother, Tom Friend of Las Cruces; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Nelson's Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
