William Phillips Dies At Hillsboro

Special to the News.
HILLSBORO, Texas, Dec. 25.-Funeral services were conducted by Minister Tommy Hodge at Marshall and Marshall Chapel Thursday afternoon for William Elijah Phillips, 92, who died at a local hospital Tuesday afternoon.

Burial was in White Rock Cemetery. Phillips, a long-time resident of Hill and McLennan Counties and residing a mile from Hillsboro on the Whitley Road for the last fifteen years was a former banker and a large landowner.
