Miss Nancy Phillips, daughter of Martin Phillips, deceased, died suddenly at the home of her brother, Mr. Wig Phillips, in Brushy Creek Township, on Wednesday, 21st inst., aged about 68
years. She was apparently in her usual health at supper time, but shortly afterwards was stricken down and in three hours was a corpse. Heart failure was the cause of her death. On the day following her death her remains were interred at Fairview Church. She had long been a consistent member of the Protestant Methodist Church, and was highly esteemed by her friends.
