Mr. W.C. Chatham’s Funeral on Sunday.
The funeral services for Mr. W.C. Chatham, age 77, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Polonie Meadows, at Macon, Ga., and whose remains reached Athens on Sunday was held at Mispah church, Jackson county, at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. S.J. Cartledge, and interment followed in the church yard. Bernstein Bros. in charge.

Mr. Chatham is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Rollie Chambers, of Savannah; Mrs. Polonie Meadows, of Macon; Mrs. Lizzie Phillips, of Jackson county; Mrs. Cleo Graham, of South Carolina; Mrs. Mary Maddox, of Commerce, and Miss Annie Chatham, of Madison county, and two sons, Messrs. John and H.T. Chatham, of Madison county.
