FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. PHILLIPS

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Phillips, aged 34, who died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday, at home on the Barnett Shoals road, were held from the residence at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Rev. W.M. Saye officiating; interment followed in Oconee cemetery. The following will act as pallbearers: E.K. Greer, R.E. Johnson, R.T. Yarbrough, A.C. Seagraves, B.J. Smith, A.S. Towns, W.R. Smith and W.W. Puryear.

Mrs. Phillips was the widow of N.O. Phillips, a prominent planter of Clarke county, who died last Monday and whose funeral was conducted Wednesday.

She had been ill only a week.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Sorrells; three sons, Keeley, Jewett and W.A. Phillips; three little daughters, Flora Mae, Eva and Blanch Phillips; four brothers, J.A. Sorrells, Gainesville; George Sorrells, Five Points, Ala.; Wesley Sorrells, Athens; Coleman Sorrells, Macon; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Eitson.
