MR. ASA B. HAYNES DIES AT HIS HOME
Mr. Asa B. Haynes, age 60, for twenty years a resident of Athens until four months ago when he moved to his plantation in Oconee county, died at his country home Friday at 6 o’clock after an illness of ten days.
The remains were brought to Bernstein & Bros. chapel, Friday night, and will be taken to the home of his son 553 Pulaski street where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. E.E. Hill, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Saturday at 4:30 p.m., interment following in Oconee cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W.M. Phillips, of Oconee county, and Miss Etau Haynes, of Athens; and three sons, Messrs. C.C., W.J., J.G. Haynes of Athens.
