Death of Mr. N.O. Phillips Yesterday on Barnett Shoals Road

N.O. Phillips, 35 years of age, died yesterday shortly after noon at his home on Barnett Shoals road.

The death followed a week’s illness

Funeral services will be held at the residence this afternoon at 2 o’clock Rev. W.M. Saye officiating. Interment will be in Oconee cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Phillips, six children, three sisters, Mrs. E. Eidson, Mrs. Fred Nash and Mrs. Bessie Phillips, and one brother, W.R. Phillips, all of whom live in Clarke county.

The pallbearers will be E.K. Greer, R.T. Yarbrough, Ed Johnson, A.C. Seagraves, W.R. Smith, W.W. Puryear, A.S. Towns and B.D. Smith.
