The following was in the Shoreham Herald of March 25, 2010:

Gerard Joseph 'Ged' Phillips, peacefully in St. Richards Hospital, Chichester, aged 82. A much loved husband, dad and grandad, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service at 12 noon on Friday March 26 at Arundel Cathedral. Family flowers only please but if desired donations to Cancer Research UK may be sent c/o H.D. Tribe Ltd., 130 Broadwater Road, Worthing, tel: 01903 234516.
