SUGAR HILL - Lillian Phillips Blalock, 89, of Sugar Hill died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Deport.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at DeShields Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Mac Brown officiating. Interment is under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blalock was born on June 12, 1918, in Rolf, Okla. the daughter of Henry Phillips and Cordie (Carlton) Phillips. She was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and James Burgin of Sugar Hill; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene Anshultz of Sugar Hill.
She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Chock and Cliff Phillips; and two sisters, Frances Blalock and Janelle Moss.
