Obituary Notes.
Dr. G.W. Phillips died at his home in La Junta, Colo., on March 23, at the age of eighty-three years. He was born in Berkshire, Mass., and was graduated from the Indiana Medical College, La Porte, Ind., in 1846. In 1850 he went to California, but later went to Dixon, Ill. He served during the Civil War as surgeon of an Illinois regiment. In 1877 he removed to Colorado, where he continued to reside until his death.
