A sad death occurred at 9 a.m. last Sunday at the home of the well-known druggist, Mr. W.A. Williamson. Mr. Thomas Phillips, a young druggist of Stephenville, Erath county, arrived in Waco on Saturday the 7th to complete his education at Baylor University. Just after matriculating and being assigned to classes, he took sick at his boarding house near the university. He was removed on Saturday to the residence of his friend, Mr. Williamson to be nursed through his illness. His brother, who was telegraphed for on Friday, arrived Saturday. All was done that medical skill, kind friends and a devoted brother could do for the estimable young sufferer, but with no avail. His brother left with the remains by yesterday morning’s Texas Central train for interment at Stephenville.
