Adell (Phillips) Parker, of Cherokee County Texas was created by Mamie

Graveside service for Adell Phillips Parker, 85, of Rusk, was at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Old Palestine Cemetery with the Rev. Leslie Parker officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Parker died July 1 in a Rusk nursing home.

She was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Rusk and was a life-long resident. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a housewife.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lee Parker, in 1991.

Survivor are a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Josephine Phillips of Rusk; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
