RAN PHILLIPS DIED SATURDAY.
Randall Phillips, one of the best known colored citizens of Americus, died yesterday morning after an illness of two or three weeks. For many years he had been employed as porter in different furniture establishments here and was worthy of every trust. The funeral will take place this afternoon and will be largely attended.
