1866: Mrs. Mary Gibson, gnd/ma of Miss Cynthia Phillips was created by Mamie

Mrs. Mary Gibson died at the residence of Mr. Martin, about nine miles from this city, on the 16th of August last, leaving her grand-daughter, Miss Cynthia Phillips, in a destitute condition. Mrs. Gibson is a refugee from Mississippi, where she had two sons living, but who were in the army, at the time she left that State. We make this announcement at the request of Miss Phillips, who hopes it will meet the eyes of her relatives, and they will come or send for her.
