Shropshire Star Friday 4 November 2011: Phillips – William Ernest (Bill) – Of Preens Edy, Coalport Road, passed away peacefully though suddenly at his home, with his Family by his side. Funeral arrangements to be announced later. [This announcement has Edy not Eddy]

Also on Thursday 10 November 2011: Phillips – William Ernest (Bill) – Of Preens Eddy, Coalport Road, passed away peacefully though suddenly at his home, with his Family by his side. Beloved Husband of Pauline, loving Father of Mark and Joy and a cherished Grandad. Will be sadly missed by his Family and Friends. Funeral Service on Tuesday November 15, at All Saints Church, Broseley, 10.30 am, followed by Interment in Broseley Parish Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers for the RNLI, would be appreciated
