Father Of Local Man Dies In Ohio.

Richard Phillips received word that his father, Dick Phillips, died at his home in Akron, Ohio last Sunday.

The elder Mr. Phillips was for a number of years a citizen of Briscoe county and many of the old settlers of that county and the eastern part of Swisher county knew him.

Richard Phillips had just returned from a visit with his father last Saturday. He spent nearly two weeks in the home, but on account of his business here could not remain longer.

While in Ohio, Richard spent two days visiting the Century of Progress at Chicago.
