Glynnis Ann (Keen) Phillips was born on the 22nd of May 1958, deep in the heart of Manhattan. Growing up with her world-traveling, vivacious mother and brilliant, classical and jazz pianist father, Glynnis was exposed at a very young age to the beauty of the world. After graduating from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Linguistics with an emphasis in the Romantics, Glynnis began her own adventures. Then in 1984, she would meet and marry the love of her life and for 27 years they would journey together on what would be her greatest adventure. Raising their two children in Denton, Texas, Glynnis inspired everyone she came into contact with. Her creativity and love for life continued even with the hardships she faced in the last four years of her life. Never losing her spunk, Glynnis passed away at 53 on January 29, 2012 in her husband's loving arms. She is survived by Doss, the soul-mate, and her two now adult offspring, Jesse Hunter and Justis James. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
