Shirley Katherine Phillips 77, of Onalaska, Texas passed away Monday April 14, 2008 in Fredericksburg, Tx. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Saturday April 19, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Onalaska with Rev. Dale Snell officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellow Cemetery in Columbus, Tx, at 4:00pm. Visitation will be Friday April 18, 2008 in the Cochran Funeral Home - Onalaska Chapel from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
Shirley was a loving wife and mother, her greatest accomplishments were her four children. She also enjoyed being involved with the local bowling league.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years Perry D. Phillips of Onalaska, son and daughter in law Herbie and Kathy Phillips of Celina, Tx, daughter and son in law Janice and Ken Fisher of Fredericksburg, Tx, son and daughter in law Dwain and Kerri Phillips of McKinney, Tx, and daughter and son in law Denise and Don Chouinard of Brandenton, Fl, grandchildren Dale Phillips, Hillary Robinson and husband James, Madison Phillips, Daniel Fisher, Eric Fisher, Amy Fisher, Tim Pollard, Abbie Pollard, and James Chouinard, great grandchildren Faith Robinson and Summer Robinson. She is also survived by her sisters Ruth Ann Villeneuve, and Marry Ellen Hodde.
She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert Otto Adolph and California Siegert Necker, sister Dorothy Hutchins, and a brother Edward Necker.
Serving as pallbearers will be Herbie Phillips, Dwain Phillips, Ken Fisher, Don Chouinard, Daniel Fisher, Eric Fisher, Dale Phillips, James Chouinard, and Tim Pollard.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Onalaska.
