Old Railroader Dead.
Captain Jas. M. Phillips, who was general superintendent of the Santa Fe for many years and latterly general superintendent of the Kentucky Union, at Lexington, Ky., died at the Windsor hotel at Dallas, at 10 a.m., Feb. 4, of typhoid fever. Captain Phillips was well known in Fort Worth, and has many friends here, both in railroad and commercial circles.
