Richard William Phillips, 70, passed away on April 6, 2012 after a three year battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Richard was born in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Houston at the age of five. He was a Boy Scout for many years and became an Eagle Scout in 1959. Richard was a graduate of Austin High School in Houston, Texas where he had been a member of ROTC, and he held a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He became a member of MENSA in 1967, and was a long standing member of the Whitehall Club. Richard was a member of AICPA since 1966, and was a practicing CPA up to two week prior to his passing.

Richard is survived by his wife Martha Beavers Phillips and his daughter Aubin Phillips, his sisters Jeanne Phillips, Patricia Campion, and Diane Corbo. He is preceded in death by his daughter Stephanie Phillips.

A Memorial Service will be held for Richard on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX, 77024.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Team in Training's Texas Gulf Coast Chapter participant Aubin Phillips

Obituary: Mildred Lorraine Jones Phillips
MILDRED JONES PHILLIPS, passed away February 1, 2004, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Phillips. She is survived by a son, Richard W. Phillips; three daughters, Jeanne L. Phillips, Patricia P. Campion Diane P. Corbo, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2004, at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the charity of your choice
