1896: In TX., Annie Phillips to Herbert L. McCarty was created by Mamie

A very pretty wedding occurred last Tuesday evening at the Tabernacle Methodist church, when Rev. O.T. Hotchkiss united in marriage Miss Annie Phillips and Mr. Herbert LeeRoy McCarty.

An informal reception was tendered the young couple in the lecture room of the church directly following the ceremony, after which they left for a trip to Marshall and Tyler.

Mr. and Mrs. McCarty will be at home after New Year's, in Brunner.
